A. Reductio ad Absurdum is not a logical argument form in the strict sense, the way that Modus Ponens is, for example. RaA is a method of counter argument in which the premises from another person's argument are taken, some more true premises are added, and this leads to an absurd conclusion. Because there is no strict logical form for this type of argument, the argument type itself cannot be considered valid or invalid. The form of the argument varies by example. Only a specific instance of the argument can be valid or invalid.
